Hangar 17 Two-Year Limited Warranty

This document is the complete written warranty for eligible Hangar 17 Spot Pro lighting kits sold to consumers in the United States. Please read it before purchasing.

Warrantor and covered products

The warrantor is Hangar 17 Powersports, Illinois 60160, United States. This limited warranty covers a new Upper Spot Pro Kit or Lower Spot Pro Kit purchased directly from Hangar 17 Powersports or an authorized Hangar 17 dealer for personal, family, or household use. It extends to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Warranty period

The warranty lasts two years from the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser, or from the documented retail purchase date when bought from an authorized dealer. Proof of purchase is required. Product registration is not required.

What is covered

Hangar 17 warrants that the Spot Pro light, Hangar 17-supplied wiring harness, bezels, and position-specific mounting components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation that follows the instructions for the confirmed fitment.

What is not covered

This warranty does not cover normal wear or cosmetic change that does not affect function; consumable installation supplies; loss or theft; collision, impact, fire, abuse, neglect, or improper storage; corrosion caused by unaddressed damage; damage from incorrect voltage, reverse polarity, incompatible wiring, or electrical faults outside the kit; installation on an unconfirmed fitment; cutting or modification outside the approved instructions; unauthorized repair or alteration; unlawful or unsafe use; or damage caused by a vehicle, part, accessory, or service rather than a defect in the covered Hangar 17 product. Use of a third-party part or service does not by itself void this warranty, but damage caused by that part or service is not covered.

Our remedy

For a covered defect reported during the warranty period, Hangar 17 will, at its option and without charge for covered parts or labor, repair the product, replace it with the same or a functionally equivalent product, or refund the purchase price if repair or replacement cannot be completed after a reasonable opportunity. A repaired or replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days after return to the customer, whichever is longer.

How to obtain warranty service

Provide the purchaser’s name, order number or receipt, product and fitment, a description of the problem, and clear photos or video when reasonably available.
Do not disassemble or ship the product until we provide instructions. If inspection is required, we will provide an authorization and return address. For an approved United States claim requiring return, Hangar 17 will provide or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping.

We will evaluate complete claims promptly and normally complete the remedy within 30 days after receiving any product required for inspection. A free paper copy of this warranty is available on request through the contact information above.

Implied warranties and limitation of damages

This written warranty does not disclaim implied warranties. Where permitted by law, any implied warranty, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in duration to the two-year period of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts.

To the extent permitted by law, Hangar 17 is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from a breach of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Your legal rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this warranty limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Customers outside the United States may have mandatory rights under local law that apply in addition to or instead of portions of this warranty.
