Ride the problem
Products start with a real problem encountered on the machine, on the trail, and in the conditions riders actually face.
About Hangar 17 Powersports
Hangar 17 Powersports grew from our need to see the trail—and the riders around us—more clearly in heavy snow and after dark.
The Hangar behind the name
Hangar 17 began in our garage—the space we call Hangar 17—inspired by the experimental spirit of places like Hangar 18 and Skunk Works.
Heavy snowstorms and night rides exposed a simple problem: stock snowmobile lighting made it difficult for us to see the trail and keep track of the riders around us. We decided the lighting needed an upgrade.
What followed was more than two years of development: countless 3D-printed bezel iterations to refine the fit, long conversations with suppliers, repeated sourcing work, and the hands-on research required to turn an idea into a complete kit.
How Hangar 17 works
Products start with a real problem encountered on the machine, on the trail, and in the conditions riders actually face.
Repeated prototypes and hands-on testing turn small fitment details into a more considered finished kit.
Clear product information, installation resources, and direct help matter as much as the parts in the box.
From suppliers to our Hangar
Hangar 17 works with specialized suppliers, including manufacturers in China for components such as lights and bezels. Those components are brought together and assembled by Hangar 17 in the United States.
The current launch catalog includes four complete Spot Pro kits: Clear and Amber lights for compatible lower-fitment positions, plus Clear and Amber lights for compatible upper-fitment positions. The two colors share identical fitment and bezels within the same position.
Current purchases are presale orders estimated to ship approximately two months from the order date. That timing is an estimate and may change as production progresses.
Your next step
Confirm the supported upper or lower position for your sled, then choose a Clear or Amber Spot Pro light.
